Depression: The Many Faces of a Silent Killer

Depression is often called the "silent killer." This is because it can be difficult to detect, and many people choose to keep their struggles hidden. Depression can manifest in many different ways, and it doesn't always seem what it is to be. A person can be simple smiling one second and laughing and then 12 hours later take their life. The reason suicide rates are so high is that people do not understand depression or how to deal with it. If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, please seek help!
